How many times have you heard a glowing snow report, only to hustle over to the mountain and\u00a0find yourself the victim of, well, some generous\u00a0exaggeration? What? Ski areas lie? It’s not a shock to anyone that they want to put the best face on things\u00a0so you’ll buy a lift ticket. But for those of us who have real lives \u2014 jobs to take off from, child\u00a0care to arrange, travel to endure \u2014\u00a0it can be a costly\u00a0annoyance.<\/p>\n
